October 2024 Update

There are many exciting, upcoming things happening at the club. Starting Oct. 8th @ 11:00 a.m. Flying Dragon BaGua Zhang will be adding a beginner’s class. The 10:00 a.m. class will continue as an intermediate class for those who have been studying and are ready to continue moving forward. A Ham Dinner with all the fixings is on Oct. 18 at 5:30. Tickets will be available for purchase until Monday, October 14. If there are tickets still left, someone will be at the club on the 14th from 10:00 - 2:00, but best to purchase them this week to ensure you have yours. Saturday, Oct. 19 is our traditional clean-up day from 9:00 until 1:00, so if you can lend a hand please come on out and help. There is still space left if you are interested in creating your own glass Christmas ornament at the Glass Workshop on Oct. 24. Contact the club if you are interested. The next Trivia is on Oct. 31 from 2:00 - 4:00. In keeping with the spirit of Halloween, there will be extra points for the table that has the best costumed team. Mark your calendars for Nov. 2 when the club is holding a Fall into Christmas Craft Show from 9:00 - 3:00. Twenty dynamic vendors will have great items available for everyone on your Christmas list including yourself. Our second Healthy Aging Workshop focused on Independent Living will be held on Nov. 7 from 8:30 - 3:00 - more information will be sent soon. Breakfast with Santa will be held November 30th as part of Fenelon Falls' Santa Day. The year will cap off with the club's Christmas Dinner on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 5:30 - more information to follow.
