Food Handling Certification Workshop

Verda Gross, our new Volunteer Recruiter and Coordinator, has embraced her role wholeheartedly by reaching out to individuals and businesses as she puts together a calendar of events for all to enjoy. These events of course require volunteers, and she would be grateful to talk to anyone interested in becoming involved in any capacity with the club. A Food Handling Certification Course has been arranged between the Health Unit and the Seniors Club. Verda has arranged for this course to take place at the club on Thursday September 21st from 9 to 4. Pre-registration is required by September 11th. Although this course is open to all, in recognition of the important role volunteers play in our society the $40.00 fee for the course will be waived to any active volunteer who provides us with a letter from an organization they are currently volunteering with.
