October News Update

A warm Happy Thanksgiving is extended to all members and their families. Enjoy!

Here are some upcoming activities to mark on your calendars:

On October 14th, there will be a fall clean-up event at the club from 9-noon when volunteers help to spruce up the club before colder weather sets in. If you can lend a hand, please call Sharon at 705-887-2928. Many hands make light work!

October 21st, FFSC is hosting a Craft Fair/Market from 9:00 – 2:00pm. There will be more than 25 vendors with many different crafts and items for sale, including glass art, Christmas decorations, quilts, jewelry, fruit cake, hand crafted items, jams, cakes and much more. A light lunch will also be available for purchase. Come out and support the vendors and the club, and please share this with friends and family.

Breakfast With Santa is back this year! Jean’s daughter Shirley Nesbitt and granddaughter Ronalee Switzer will be at the helm of this fun event.  Thanks to generous donations and in keeping with the tradition of a free Santa Day, this breakfast is being hosted free of charge. Also, thanks to all the volunteers who will make this a special day. If you are interested in volunteering, please call Verda at 705-887-7007. Helping hands are always appreciated.

Our club Christmas dinner will be held on Saturday, December 9. More information and details will follow.
