BA GUA ZHANG

The Fenelon Falls Seniors’ Centre is excited to introduce a new activity to our weekly schedule of events, Ba Gua Zhang with Fred Walker. Tuesdays @ 10 a.m.-12 noon, starting April 9. With enough interest, an evening class may be offered. Cost: first lesson is free, $10/person thereafter.

Ba Gua Zhang has its roots in martial arts, and is a gentle practice of walking in a circle with specific poses and palm changes. It enhances energy and promotes health and fitness. It can strengthen muscles, tendons, ligaments and bones, while simultaneously harmonizing the functions of the internal organs, stimulating the brain and nervous system. Research shows that learning a new skill is good for our brain, so we invite you to come out and learn about Ba Gua Zhang and try it for yourself. Fred is passionate about helping others and has a wealth of knowledge and expertise to share. For further information please contact: Heather LeCraw  at hlecraw@gmail.com
