Here We Come 2024

Happy New Year and welcome to 2024! The club will reopen Monday, January 8 and all activities will be available. Hopefully, the club through its various programs and activities will assist you in fulfilling any of your New Year’s resolutions to be more active and more involved. Please check out the club’s website at fenelonseniors.com for a full list of its activities. Through the New Horizon grant, the club now has in place a short-term contract position for program/activity development for the next three months. Heather LeCraw will be filling that position. Those of you who participated in pole walking will know Heather and others will know her from the many other things that she does in the community. If you have any ideas for programs at the club, please contact Heather at hlecraw@gmail.com and share your ideas and/or suggestions. We are looking for anyone interested in playing Euchre on Wednesday afternoon as well as anyone interested in joining SkipBo. In addition, Heather is currently working on a very informative and interactive healthy aging presentation/workshop to be held at the club on the morning of February 15, so mark that date on your calendar. More information about this event will follow in the very near future. Also, one of our members, Joan Whyte Elliott, has a set of hearing aids made by Unitron Model uDirect 3 – uTV3 with a charging base and some batteries to give away. If interested, please contact Joan at 705-887-5000. Have an active and healthy new year.
